Eastland, TX

Eastland was named for Capt. William M. Eastland, San Jacinto hero and Texas Ranger.

Among the region's resources are oil, ranching, farming and manufacturing. During the 1920s, Eastland was a petroleum boomtown, but has now matured into a bustling town with an old style downtown but all the conveniences of the major retail centers as well.

You may well agree on visiting that Eastland has never lost it's friendly atmosphere, but instead offers so much to families who relocate here. Abundant in parks and fishing opportunities, and one of the best housing and business communities in the region, Eastland is one of the best places in Texas to live, work, and enjoy Texas!
